Pros
Great benefits... medical, dental, life insurance, 401K match, etc.
Cons
I was with the company for a decent amount of time and it started out great. We worked hard... got rewarded for all of the hard work and had a lot of fun. However, over time and especially when the pandemic hit everything changed. It was ok at first because we thought we were helping keeping the company afloat, so the change in commissions and salary was manageable due to the status of the world. So everyone took on more duties because we were now short staffed and everyone also took a pay cut. That is ok if it only last a little while and we are not that busy, but it is not ok when we are just as busy as before.. and now even busier because we do not have the support staff due to cuts from the pandemic. All the top performers are upset because they are selling just as many cars but make 3 to 4 times less than what they would have made on normal monthly commission. And the company has the audacity to start opening other dealerships around the country and not send help to the current dealerships that are all exhausted and hanging by a thread, because everyone has to do 5 times the amount of work while getting paid less. Hmm seems like they really care about their employees.... (not) If the Senior Management could only go to a busy store and spend a week there to see the life and day of the sales team.. they would understand why it is important to hire certain staff back.. such as Lot Techs, etc and that the overall atmosphere and happiness of the employees would be to bring back individual commissions. If that was back on the table. I can guarantee you that the company would sell more cars and there would be a lot more retention.
