I worked at EF Education First

    Pros

-Meeting great people from different cultures. -Rewarding work. -Fun work environment.

    Cons

Poor working conditions: -Pay is less than minimum wage when you take into account the extra hours you are expected to work -Very long working hours (over 70 hrs per week) -You are supposed to receive one day off per week. This often does not happen, because EF do not employ enough cover, and you end up working an extra day for no extra pay. Numerous issues with the way the kids are treated: - Pressure...

    Advice to Management

-Treat your staff with more respect and pay them a fairer wage for the hard work they do. -Respect the kids; they are not as naive and stupid as you think. If you do not genuinely care about them and continue to just see them a "money pinatas", it will eventually come back to bite you in the a#$!

I worked at EF Education First full-time for less than a year

    Pros

EF takes on people with zero teaching experience which gives those who have never had a chance to teach TEFL to get some experience before going abroad! Great job where you get to teach different European and Asian nationalities. You also get to work alongside people from different nationalities! Its a great graduate job! They offer a FREE TEFL too!!

    Cons

Its only a temp summer job :(
