Pros
- Good learning opportunities in the early stages of the career, helps with the certifications. - People can be great, usually helpful and understanding. - Good flexibility, depending on the job role, IT has decent flexibility, good work-life balance. - International environment, lots of opportunities to meet people outside of Europe, including traveling from time to time.
Cons
- Difficult to progress quickly in your career (promotions, responsibilities), if you are diligent this can be difficult to comprehend. - Salary and Benefits are nowhere close to what other companies of this scale offer. - Things here move very slow, applies to promotions, salary raises, etc. So if you are impatient and fast, this will be a pain point. - Doing your daily responsibilities is not enough, there are expectations for you to step out and take additional roles and be visible and vocal so that senior managers will know about you. - The tech stack is a bit outdated, some of the tools are very outdated and unwanted in the current market, due to this you have to put extra time to learn/enhance your knowledge.
