Pros
There are many hard working, dedicated, nice people who like to have fun and make you feel welcome. Products are cute and fun. Some people are dedicated and work hard, others are lazy and will never leave there...and everyone is treated exactly the same....which is why many of the employees have become lazy and dont care.
Cons
To name just a few: Unprofessional people/environment, I think largely bc this is a private company, people know they can get away with more. They NEVER close the office for snow, and if you can't make it they force you to take vacation days (some dept.'s can work from home but not all-- not fair) Old school mentality- they think if you aren't chained to your desk, you aren't working.... Systems are outdated and not user friendly. Definitely a clique-y atmosphere...either you are part of the in-crowed or not...if you are, you are favored, if not, good luck. Responsibilities/tasks pile up, however title changes and raises never seem to occur...and if they do you really need to FIGHT. Some individuals who work here would NEVER survive anywhere else- rude, unprofessional, bullying type approach--- it's disgusting. Owners have so much money they dont know what to do with it--very greedy & they dont really seem to care about their employees much. Pay is not good, and they never seem to give more than a 3% raise....if you get one....but you will NOT get your annual review on time, so goodluck. Benefits are TERRIBLE. Health insurance was the worst I have ever had, and it's not cheap either. No retirement fund match- you are on your own. A lot of manual data entry. High turnover in the Marketing Dept. No Summer Fridays (they let you out 1 hour early, which to me, doesn't count) Processes are not efficient Depending what dept you are in and your title, you are either running out the door at the end of the day and no one bothers you, or you are working insane hours including the weekends on many occasions.
