Always hiring, decent wages depending on position and years of service (100% due to a strong union [UFCW]), many decent managers and co-workers, discounts, ability to transfer to WA, ID, or AK, great first job to gain good customer service skills and training.
Cons
High turnover, Fred Meyer thrives on the phrase, "It's not what you know, it's who you know," as a result of that philosophy the ranks of lower and middle management are filled with terribly unintelligent, dull, and uncaring micromanaging drones.
