Engineers are super supportive when you're stuck and need help with something. Ambitious leadership. Plenty of opportunities to own projects from start to finish. Coming from a larger corporate environment, it will take a bit of an adjustment to get into "startup" mindset, but once you're locked in, it's a great environment that rewards dedication.

As an ambitious engineer out of college, I was looking for a position where I could own difficult problems, work with awesome technology, and maximize my rate of learning, and Freeform is exactly that. The team here is truly incredible - with everyone being an expert at what they do, we can accomplish big things at a high rate. After only a couple of months, I became completely enamored with the mission to change the world of metal manufacturing with additive technology. In return, I have received incredible experience, skills, and knowledge in a very short amount of time, and I get to own problems and make decisions that affect the company immensely. This job has truly been life changing.

This is not an easy place to work. The price to accomplish incredible things is long and hard work. Everyone here is extremely dedicated to solving the biggest problems in additive manufacturing. To be successful here, you have to truly care and believe in what we are doing, and you will have to give it your all. It's a grind for sure, but it is 100% worth it.
