Pros
- Some of the team are amazing and will do anything for each other to help support. I believe they call it ‘trauma bonding’.
Cons
- HR leader sends threatening messages on company wide platform warning anyone who posts negative reviews on Glassdoor will hear from their solicitors - Toxic directors and Senior Leadership team - System that Senior Management have admitted ‘doesn’t work’ yet still keep selling to large clients which the system and other 3rd party integrated systems can’t handle. - Director telling junior team members that he doesn’t need to work for a living and showing them his personal savings accounts revealing high levels of funds - At least twice a year there are issues with getting paid on time. HR blame the system however it has been alleged that they just forgot to transfer money to the correct account - CEO loves the sound of his own voice. Occasionally holds ‘fireside chats’ which the teams ask questions like ‘do we need to be worried about job security?’ In which the CEOs response is to waffle for 20 minutes and not answer the question. - Didn’t pay bonuses and delayed pay increases for 3 months (didn’t back date them) with the excuse of ‘we’d rather do this than risk redundancies’) yet made at least two people redundant within a year anyway. - The new HR team are very unapproachable and rude. Encountered this on numerous occasions and heard the same opinion from others. - The old HR team who were all amazing, all left within a few months of each other. I’d hate to know why. - No consistency in salary calculation methods. It seems they make it up as they go along depending on which will save them money. Advise for current employees: CHECK YOUR PAYSLIPS ALWAYS - When the annual salary increases roll around, we didn’t find out our bonus/salary until sometimes AFTER we received our payslip. Even when they decide to not pay you one which was a lovely surprise! - Some salaries beneath the regional averages by 10s of thousands - HR telling team members they will not be promoted due to a sickness that was due to a bereavement. - Director discussing people’s bonuses on calls in an open office. Junior member of staff heard every conversation the Director had and therefore knew the amount of everyone’s bonus - Senior management indifferent to staff retention - Toxicity between teams is ignored by management
