Pros
- Good office, free gym, nice canteen - Nice colleagues on the same level, although not everyone is friendly.
Cons
- Abusive managers, although there are some exceptions. - No regard for overall staff wellbeing, health and safety. - Inhuman expectations in terms of working hours and no benefit - no TOIL or overtime pay. - Bullying of lower-level staff - No working adjustments for lower level staff, including sick days and doctors appointments during working hours. - Absence of HR help - any complaints are dismissed. - High turn over of younger staff due to high dissatisfaction - The company lives in 20th century and refuses to accept current dynamics of staff interaction and general communications. - Communication is convoluted and there is zero transparency in decision making regarding staff benefits, raise, development. - No staff development and growth opportunities unless you are lucky to have made friends with higher management. - Clear favoritism - Good luck trying to book a holiday - anything to do with you comes last, the managers personal trips and business trips will come first and if you are working with more than one, likely you won't be allowed more than a few days here and there.
