      Pros

      - The people at HubSpot are some of the most hardworking, friendly, and supportive coworkers I have ever met. - HubSpot works hard to create a truly diverse and inclusive work environment where everyone can feel comfortable bringing their true selves to work. - The management works hard to make everyone feel seen and heard and there are many opportunities to get involved in projects you're interested in. - There are so many opportunities to learn and grow as an individual (events, talks, tuition reimbursement, etc.). - And, there are some amazing perks! Coffee garden, beer garden, smoothie bar, quiet rooms, open workspaces, standing desks, gym, fully stocked kitchen, and the list goes on!

      Cons

I really do not have many cons! I will note, HubSpot is constantly changing and evolving as a company. I hope the Renewals organization continues to put resources towards improving our internal systems and processes so we can be more efficient.

Thanks for calling out that you feel seen and heard and the informal and formal learning opportunities we offer, not to mention standing desks--I need to get better at using mine. Anyways, back to your review-thank you so much for calling out that we should continue to invest in internal systems and for sharing your feedback and your hard work. I really appreciate it and hope you have a great and relaxing long weekend! Cheers, Katie

          Pros

Hubspot is a worldclass leader in CRM/Marketing/Sales software, and has really created a phenomenal platform as well as marketing strategy for the platform. #1 platform in the industry, so you've got a great platform to sell. Overall, great company culture despite the way my journey ended.

          Cons

I started in January, 2023 and was terminated the week after Thanksgiving, 2023. We all know tech sales have been a real challenge in 2023, but my experience at Hubspot may have prompted an exit from SaaS altogether. If we look at it from a numbers game, I was terminated at 86% attainment. I was struggling...had been for months. When I joined, I was told inbound should cover (approximately) 40-50% of quota, and the rest would be outbound. The reality? 10-20% each month. It was an uphill climb from day one. I know many reps who are also struggling and are looking for their next role elsewhere. I was anticipating starting PIP in December, I had joined a sales/tech coaching group, meeting w/ my manager 2x/week, meeting w/ high-performers and coming at it from every single angle I knew how all while it was taking an enormous toll on my mental health. Instead of PIP, HR joined my 1:1 with my manager and I was promptly let go. I admittedly wasn't super successful, but this was a really disappointing way to leave a company after I had invested so much time and energy and I never got a PIP to try to turn things around.

        Interview Tips

Feel free to post any interview questions you might be asked and I’ll help you compose an effective response :)

        Senior Resource Manager

Last Thursday and Friday I interviewed with 2 hiring managers for 2 different companies. Both of them said they’d like me to progress to the next interview and the recruiter would reach out. One company said they wanted a offer out this month so it would be a quick process. I sent thank you emails and references. I haven’t heard from either recruiter. I had the recruiter screening and hiring manager interview just days apart, I thought I’d hear back by now. Thoughts?!

        Underwriting Support Specialist

Underwriter 1 commercial line posted salary $45k-75k, I am aiming for at least 65k. No degree or designations, currently p&c licensed with 4 years of insurance. Is my goal too high? How should I go about negotiating my salary?

        Program Manager

Just heard that some companies are going to start paying people for their time if they are asking you to do a presentation or something! Does anyone think this will become a thing?
