Pros

- performance-oriented culture - solid benefits - easy to switch roles - work/life flexibility - mature processes & infrastructure - stability & solid competitive positioning - good overall senior leadership & strategy

Cons

- difficult to realize tangible impacts - compensation is on the low side for non-technical positions - high competition for promotions (lots of talent but minimal overall growth in opportunities)

Advice to Management

Drive non-traditional methods of injecting energy and creativity to somewhat tired workforce. Encourage cross-migration of back-office and customer-facing or consulting positions.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Deep pockets They had a decent benefits package Workers are given a reasonable amount of autonomy Open to working remotely

    Cons

Highly matrixed management - EVERYONE is your boss A general tone of arrogance among the management team Highly political environment

    Advice to Management

Variable pay should be tied to actions over which workers actually have some control. Tying a sw eng's bonus to product sales is meaningless; what effect does the eng have on product sales?
