Pros
Most aspects about this place (most small companies for that matter) can be looked at as either a pro or a con. If you’re a self-starter with lots of drive and are comfortable in ambiguous situations and don’t always need direction, then this is a great place. If you’re not comfortable with uncertainty or ambiguity then this is not the place for you. The hierarchy is fairly flat and management is, for the most part, hands off. I’m not necessarily saying these are good or bad things. But it is a serious question that you should be able to answer about yourself before deciding to work here.
Cons
You are expected to put in the hours to get your job done. Don’t confuse flexibility with 9-5. Positions that are in client facing rolls sometimes have difficult deadlines. Young staff provides unique challenges. There is a lack of accountability on some levels that can be very frustrating.
