Pros

Small company, family business (this is a pro and a con), non-management/family members are great people to work with. Easy to see that the lower level employees are the ones doing their jobs and keeping the business afloat despite challenges with higher ups.

Cons

1. Benefits are below average. 1 week of Vacation first year, no FSA offered, no vision, etc. 2. Unless you are family, there is no room for growth or advancement. 3. Communication is poor and while a core value is Team, management tries to keep each department in their own silo and inhibits camaraderie. 4. High turnover due to low morale, low pay, and lack of leadership that isn't family. 5. Areas of concern brought to the attention of management are followed by a swift action against the person(s) reporting said concerns. (Be ready to be asked who specifically is an issue so they can rid the company of you and them.) 6. Expect to be called on your personal cell frequently and not offered compensation for the minutes or data used to complete tasks they ask for during or after working hours.
