Pros
- if you couldn’t get into Tier 1 this is a place from which you can lateral higher if you are a good performer - some senior people in the firm are very good and supportive, but not most - money is competitive especially for not being tier 1 - office location was spectacular at the MCA in Circular Quay
Cons
Very clearly not Tier 1 and an insecure book. Work life balance is attorcious, and consultant support and enablement is a joke compared to Tier 1. Life can be wildly different depending my nom the projects you get and high performers are burnt through to get as much out of before they leave instead of nourished. Seniors have no genuine buy in or investment into the firm’s long term health over maximising their distributions (can only speak to ANZ unit, heard it’s different in USA).
