I worked at Kijiji full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Many of the colleagues are very friendly - eBay-backing means nice technology, parties and paid Friday lunches.

    Cons

Where to start? - Surprisingly cruel management if you're an AWF (Alternative WorkForce, AKA contract worker) --> This represents the majority of workers in the office. FTEs receive compassionate treatment and benefits, however many AWFs are treated disgracefully, and are not able to participate in work events. - Management obscures the fact that you will not be a full Kijiji/eBay employee until after you have been hired. - If you happen to get sick and are an AWF, start looking elsewhere as management may try to fire you for taking sick days. - Approximately zero career opportunities if you are an AWF (contract-worker in perpetuity).
