Think twice - Anonymous employee Leafly Employee Review

When I thought Leafly couldn’t get any more out of touch with CANNABIS culture, they continue to find a way. When I thought the COMPANY culture couldn’t get any worse, they continue to outdo themselves. There has been a lack of consistent direction since the beginning of time at Leafly, which is to be expected with a startup. With each new year comes a new CEO, and more failed attempts to revolutionize the industry. Sadly, Leafly is full of hope and poop. In reality, you work your butt off everyday to push these “great” new ideas that 1. already exist and, 2. are being executed by companies who do it 10x better. Leafly may be the right company for you if want to work for those who don’t value actual cannabis knowledge and/or experience(s). It seems as though they would rather hire those that look just like them, than any person of color or gender. It’s so sad to know that just a short time ago, Leafly was like a family who had passion for the industry, encouragement for one another, and diversity. It doesn’t take much research on LinkedIn to see the very obvious nepotism. Do your due diligence before deciding to work here. If you want a resume builder because of its very well known strain database, by all means, shoot your shot. If you want to work for a company and a management team that actually embraces the cannabis culture, values your input and cannabis knowledge, embraces diversity, and actually wants to see you become successful, then I would consider all my options before doing so.
