Pros

Interesting work and an opportunity to improve transit operations.

Cons

Weak leadership, no internal communication and a poorly run organization overall. Management is not interested in developing an engaged workforce, no feedback on performance and compensation is well below industry standards. Expect long work hours, no recognition for efforts and random dismissal without cause. An old boys network with rampant hiring of friends.

You get a pay cheque

Cons

Management treats their employees terribly. Buses are barely safe for the road when defects are reported nothing is done. Could go all day just save yourself the headache and don't work there!

Pros

The job itself is really great, the passengers for the most part are polite and friendly. Dispatch are great and always helpful.

Cons

The company is completely mismanaged. Our shifts are brutal (some you work 52 hours in a week and are only paid for 40 due to split shifts). The most common shifts are 10+ hours. Drivers on spare board are abused, working all shifts, early morning to late evening, and you need to call in for your work daily. DAILY. Makes work/life balance a real problem for all. The only thing that gives us hope is our president, wonderful man but not well informed by his senior management team.
