Pros

I have been working at Matter Motor Works as a Talent Acquisition Manager for more than a year now, and my experience so far has been extremely enriching. This is my first opportunity to work so closely with a manufacturing organization, and it has significantly broadened my understanding of plant operations, workforce planning, and end-to-end hiring across diverse functions. One of the biggest positives of working at Matter is the leadership support. My immediate manager is an inspiring leader who consistently guides, supports, and encourages the team, creating a positive and collaborative work environment. The organization offers exposure to hiring across both support functions and manufacturing roles, which has helped me develop a well-rounded perspective in talent acquisition. Matter Motor Works promotes a culture of learning, ownership, and innovation, especially in the evolving EV ecosystem. It is a great place for professionals who want hands-on exposure, fast-paced growth, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing organization.

Cons

No Cab/Transport facility is provided as of now.

Pros

The people are what really make Matter, Matter. The designers are incredibly talented, dedicated, and go above and beyond on every project or task. The management team was supportive and flexible with my chronic illness, and when I had to take time off to handle family affairs, they went out of their way to ensure that I didn't have to worry about a thing. The team is very close-knit and highly-collaborative with a work hard, play hard, mentality.

Cons

There is a certain level of discipline and self-start initiative required. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. As someone who doesn't like being micro-managed, I appreciated that I was given adequate space to create, adapt, and even help shape processes that impacted the team. However, designers, specifically at the junior level, need more oversight from seniors to help strengthen their skill set in design, presentation, and communication. Lastly, Project Managers could use more support in bolstering the importance of their role within the organization - sometimes it felt like an afterthought.
