Sole responsibilities, managing projects, dealing with people and cross-functional teams, staying on track with KPIs, practicing creativity, I was exposed to a variety of challenges, also a fast-paced work environment, that helped me hugely develop my skills, confidence, and managerial abilities
Cons
Instructions and expectations may tend to change especially there are different people, personalities and values involved in the board and management. I worked long hours in the office, that means proper work-life balance is not guaranteed on the HQ level. When it comes to benefits and salaries, you need to come in wisely and learn how to negotiate for yourself at the get-go, it's not given, it's more earned. It's tricky but can be rewarding.
