Pros

This could be a good company, old Sales Manager (Brian?)had a compelling vision, not sure why the owners didn't listen. The concept is needed, the execution and leadership of that vision is long lost

Cons

Too many to list. Micromanaging by people who aren't smart, inflexible people who think they are flexible. One of the owners has another successful business and seems to think this makes him smart. The other owner has failed at everything, including his judo story. Run from this place

Pros

Unique solution with low market saturation. Privately held w/ no shareholders to answer to, which may, or may not be a pro depending on one's viewpoint. Not a complex sale, so the sales process qualifies/disqualifies very quickly and projects move to close. It is not unreasonable to think that one could close opportunities within the first 60 days of employment. Company procures leads from trade shows and maintains a sizable data base of leads to call on. Jr. sales roles maintain more longevity.

Cons

Extremely high employee turn over in very short time frames; under 5 months for sales positions. Candidates should do due diligence on social media, reach out to former employees for feedback, and question management intensively so that it is clear as to what the longevity of the role might be. Be advised - history shows a consistent pattern of termination without notice or severance at the conclusion of a successfully closed sales project, and/or a completed lead qualification campaign. Approach this company with the understanding that your position is unlikely to last longer than several months (average employment history supports this). Check with the department of labor for more information. Also, be aware that management is running another company in an entirely separate industry. During the interview process, seek to understand how the two companies share resources, time and how that will impact your role.
