    I have been working at Natural Resources Wales full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great holiday and Flexi-time policy, and supportive of working your contracted hours but not more. Strong support for staff from Team Leader level. Pay is competitive for public sector.

    Cons

    Very few 'perks' such as access to corporate memberships (gym, healthcare etc), salary sacrifice for a car or schemes to make you feel valued as an individual and boost morale. Managers have a tendency to hide facts when things aren't going well, rather than being honest with their staff.
