Pros

Benefits are good Remote work If you want to go in the office it's in a nice location

Cons

-Low pay, although the CEO and COO are adamant pay is at industry standards -No positive business outlook. There have been 3 layoffs in just over 4 years. All of this despite record revenue last year -Communication with employees is shockingly bad and has only gotten worse in the last year. -"Straight talk" is a company value, but as soon as that straight talk is for execs they ignore it or get defensive. It's even led to firings. -Executives make decisions on whim without consulting the teams who it will actually effect -There's a serious lack of resources for employees. Nothing is ever in the budget and then shortcomings are blamed on employees and not exces who refused to listen to them -Despite bad financial performance, there's always money for executive only offsites -Absolutely no attempt at diversity and inclusion -The latest attempt at saving the company is to hire former leaders from A Place for Mom and hope for the best -There's been a huge drain on talent in the last year due to all of these issues. Most of the company's most talented employees were sidelined in favor of former APFM employees

Pros

Flex time off and flex hours, given that people work in different time zones. Remote company. Mid-level personnel are pleasant to work with. Compensation was at market rates even if they couldn't afford it.

Cons

Too many meetings of people talking just to hear their own voice. The company is performing very poorly - they don't spend strategically to make up for the lack of revenue. Culture is very awkward because there's no structure. Change is slow and often too little too late (they did not keep up with the real estate market tanking). Turnover is extremely high with people leaving on their own or management hiring and RIFing so quickly because they're confused on what positions they need in order to succeed. Leadership refuses to believe what you say and belittles you for bringing concerns up if, even if you're the one closest to the data so it's easy to shut down and stop trying.
