Even with an exceeds expectations annual rating, no bonus, no raise. Last year, they hired someone with less technical and general overall data science experience to a position above me and have been told numerous times that I am outperforming him, yet I received no pay increase or recognition. On top of that, I have more responsibilities than the person above me.
Then, they proceeded to hire two more Lead Data Scientists from external, again with less work experience than me. So I am the lone person at the bottom of the totem pole even though I have consistently been the top performer.
Thirdly, I found out from a coworker that I am being severely underpaid compared to others with the same title and upper management expressed shock that I requested a pay increase. I just don't understand Nielsen. DO NOT WORK HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR WORTH.
