I worked at Paratus People full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Location of the office is in Central Bristol

    Cons

    - The long hours (12/13 hours a day plus weekends) I appreciate sales hours are long but this was another level. Constant messages throughout the evening and weekends and unrealistic targets meaning the expectations were to work the weekend. Some people would be in from 6am and leaving at 7pm if not later, and these would be the people who were praised for their commitment to the job. - No work life balance. - The way we were spoken too was not very professional at all, at times we were shouted and sworn at for not picking up the phone and making those dials. At one point we were told we were an absolute embarrassment. It wasn't an encouraging culture. - Covid regulations were not followed at all and we were forced to come into the office during lockdown. Most of the office ended up catching covid and still were expected to come into the office after isolation. - The management is not there at all, no encouragement or praise just told we aren't doing well enough. There is 0 respect - everyone looks tired and miserable due to lack of sleep - Staff turnover is extremely high, I saw a number of people leave within a couple of months of being there.. All for the same reason. - Stay clear and if you make it past 6 months congratulations
