After a grievance process where it was apparent that a particular manager was sexually harrassing multiple staff members, this was eventually passed off as one person's word against many others. This particular manager was even promoted and seems to be continually rewarded despite their inappropriate behaviour. Although I expressed my concern with the outcome of this grievance after leaving, I did not receive any updates, an apology, or compensation for psychological damages. I know this manager still works for the organisation and, knowing their history, find it unlikely they have stopped sexually harrassing employees. I was also basically forced by another manager to come into work for a shift after having had no sleep after having had panic attacks all night. This was my first day of absence in this organisation after working for them for months. I carried a sense of guilt, shame and secrecy within the workplace about my mental health for years after this and a distrust in employers to be able to manage it respectfully and humanely.
