Pros
pay used to be a pro, simple, easy to calculate. You learn how many ways a company can pay cut you and tell you its to give your more opportunity for bonus. You'll learn to appreciate a 9 to 5 where the paycheck is always on time. This is Poster company for why selling your soul to corporate isn't so bad. You'll learn of all the legal Loop holes, a company is willing to use to get you to work for free. Hint: they're all possible when you agree to it, which is probably why they make you sign multiple contracts even though you're W-2.
Cons
Now pay is more like your astrology. If mercury is in retrograde you get a bonus but only if Jupiter isn't rising. This is a great job for college students just starting out needing extra cash. (probably because most of us young people just go with the flow and don't demand our worth.) If you're assigned an out of state position for over a month, remember as a W-2 being on location (away from your home) means you're full time. Don't buy that "treat cancelled event and time off like a vacation" so they can avoid paying you 40 hrs a week. A couple of us got played with that logic.
