I have been working at Pret A Manger

    Pros

PRET has a good environment with lots to learn and you can adapt and progress quickly, it was an ideal part-time job for me during my university time.

    Cons

Depending on the shop you get to work in, you may never learn about the kitchen (preparation and food safety) on the contrary to what they tell you before you are hired (that you will receive front of house as well as kitchen training in the first few weeks). This is not true and simply depends on business needs (if they require people in kitchen you will never see front house job facing customers)

I worked at Pret A Manger full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

room for growth, the possibility of weekly bonus, good hourly pay

    Cons

I've worked in several stores and unfortunately, the rules are not the same under every manager, there is clear favoritism, people are overworked and taken advantage of.
