Pros
- Perfect work/life balance. I was never asked to crunch. - Very little hierarchy. I can approach anyone without problems. - Easy going and welcoming staff. You are respected no matter your career level or contract type. - No micro management. You are encouraged to be indipendent and take ownership of stuff. - Creative everyday work. Possibility to develop art production skills without spending a lot of time doing repetitive task. - If I find myself doing any repetitive task I can ask a tech artist to help me without consequences. - There is a lot of room for improvement. If you are experienced and coming from a "bigger" studio you will feel appreciated. - Very stable game engine & toolset. Never had a crash. - Independent studio – not owned by shareholders/investors/etc. - Loads of IPs to work on. - Oxford is a fun place. It has a lot to offer. - Free merchandise, fruit, milk, tea, coffe and some other benefits.
