I've had a positive experience with my current employer. After being promoted internally, I’ve seen firsthand that the company values development and recognizes effort. One of the best aspects of working here is the high level of trust; there’s no micromanagement, which allows for autonomy and ownership over my work. It’s a supportive environment where you're encouraged to succeed.
Cons
One minor downside is that remote work can limit in-person interaction, but the company makes an effort with regular virtual team-building activities and encourages meet-ups with local colleagues to maintain a sense of connection.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It's incredibly rewarding to hear about your growth journey as an Implementation Manager over the past three-plus years in Durban, and congratulations on your internal promotion. Your words about trust, autonomy, and recognition reflect exactly the culture we strive to build at Remote People. We appreciate your honest note about the challenges of remote work and in-person connection — it's something we actively work on through virtual team-building and local meet-ups, and we'll keep finding new ways to strengthen those bonds. Your encouragement means a lot to the entire team, and we're excited to continue supporting your career growth!
I enjoy working for Remote People because we have a collaborative team and leaders who listen to feedback. They try to actually understand the problems we face every day and implement ways to resolve them as much as possible.
Cons
It does feel like we are understaffed, but filling those roles with experienced people may also be a challenge.
