I have been working at Screwfix part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Easiest job I have ever worked in, everyone is willing to give a hand. Everything is simple and easy to understand. There’s so much opportunity to progress within the company. Staff are actually treated as people not just numbers. Everyone knows what needs doing and when it needs doing by and it gets done. When someone does something well you are recognised for your work and thanked for it.

    Cons

Our store is quiet new so we are lacking over time at the moment.

I have been working at Screwfix part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great and helpful management team. 95% of customers are super friendly. Relatively flexible which is good if you are a student. High health and safety standards.

    Cons

In every branch you would encounter at least one lazy colleague which affects amount of work you will have to do as a consequence. Lack of recognition.

    Advice to Management

Dear managers, If you recognise those employees that put their effort it will then encourage lazy ones to put more effort too
