    Pros

Great atmosphere within stores. Never a dull moment. Good opportunity to progress and meet new people.

    Cons

Salary for low level management is quite poor compared to competitors. Bonus doesnt filter all the way down therefore lack of motivation to meet certain KPI's.

Great company to work for, progression can be sluggish

    Pros

    - Regular and useful communication between not only the higher ups, but stores in general. Great feeling of contribution and value. - Generally a lot of skills taught to you in the role that are highly sought after and applicable in all businesses. - A solid foundation means that the company is going to be around for a while, constantly opening new stores, giving more hours, and creating more jobs.

    Cons

    - After you become entry management (Supervisor), progressions slows drastically. An apprenticeship based system muddies the water and saps time from the store, while feeling like a checkbox exercise and nothing more. (Has been internally changed and reviewed, but only time will tell of the efficacy of it). - As each store has its own separate challenge , depending on your work style there may be pressure points that are hard to overcome; some stores are very busy with footfall, some with delivery schedules, some tight with hours. - A big push towards smarter working is great, but it means whoever puts on the best song and dance gets noticed. Pressure to put up figures and sales you can boast about can encourage shady business practices, which are all too often swept under the rug.
