Pros

Good for first finance/banking job -Great benefits and Preloaded Paid Time Off -The mission: To serve the underserved -Company provided ORCA card at no cost to employee. -Heavily involved within the community to drive positive change and make an impact.

Cons

-Implement equal training at all branches. Lower volume branches should be equally as knowledgeable as the higher volume branches. -Every single branch needs to have 2-3 notaries. Current reps need to get their license. Notary licenses should also be provided to new reps after 3 months of service. -Better communications regarding internal applications. It appears that one employee was entirely overlooked for a considerable amount of time and mentioned it after a town hall meeting. -Expanding the tuition reimbursement benefits to professional licenses & certifications (Real Estate, securities, Project management, etc) this would only add more value to the credit union. The current employees would be able to provide additional insight to members and may help them move up in their career at SCU.

Pros

The senior team has a clear vision for the future. Management is empowered to do their job, The credit union staff are the most amazing and supportive staff I've ever worked with. There is lots of positive change happening which makes the future exciting. Remote positions available for work and life balance.

Cons

There are some working silos, but the credit union is actively working through this to hold more meetings and be more transparent about activities.

Pros

The benefits were fantastic during my time there. Some legitimately great people to work with across departments.

Cons

Broken culture. There is massive turn over. Management doesn't view people with empathy.
