Pros

Strong brand heritage, talented people across the business, and historically a culture that genuinely cared about delivery, operational excellence, and doing the right thing for customers. There are still some fantastic individuals here doing their best despite the relentless re-orgs and redundancy challenges.

Cons

In GS&R it has lost much of the identity that once made it special. Leadership appointments increasingly appeared to favour personal relationships over merit, (3 amigos) creating a perception of cronyism that damaged trust and morale. The structure now feels top-heavy, with blurred accountability, slower decision-making, and a disconnect from operational reality. Talented people have left recently and delivery has suffered as a result.
