Pros

+ The interview, hiring process and on boarding were easy, + People and co-workers are nice, plant workers and technicians are friendly. Office employees are quite nice. Managers are quite nice with each other (but you'll feel the gap clearly in the first two weeks). + Over hours are paid reasonably, but life-work balance does not exist here, + There are some interesting things to learn in the company including some engineering, politics, some online courses and presentation materials. + Good for people who want to stick to a routine and not being creative and get paid on time.

Cons

The only reason I am writing these is that I wish someone have told me these before joining. I hope things are better at other department and would better soon but here are the cons I wanted to share: - Small company/startup mindset: one the cheapest insurance plans among places I've seen/heard. Cutting hours on the time clock system. Cutting breaks or forcing breaks specially for plant workers. Huge turn over for plant workers, many are laid off like seasonal workers. - Inefficient management style: too many distraction and turn around for projects. Frequent and long delays does not show inefficiency of employees, but poor management or unrealistic goals. Clear hierarchy between management and employee and between departments. Marketing department rule over others: people with no engineering mindset force everyone to do something unrealistic or outdated. Unrealistic goals, designed not to be met and make you always rush, pressured and unsuccessful. - Too much politics and interpersonal issues you need to learn and deal with (it can be a pro too). You'll hear lots of negativity/wanna leave once you are open to hear them but people are afraid to share them with their managers and HR (due to the gap mentioned). - Most ridiculous feedback system ever: only designed to fake the average up on paper and bring employees down. - Once I get enough work experience, I will be looking to move away mainly because I don't see room for growth, specially to management which is tightly held by specific-impenetrable group.
