Pros

They have an abundance amount of resources.

Cons

Couldn't have said it better myself! Please do not disregard anything this person has said! Take it into account. "You are expected to tell parents about poor researched anecdotal evidence regarding special needs and children's diets (i.e. dairy and gluten, big no no). Stress due to receiving text messages and emails far beyond normal working hours, every day of the week (8 and 9pm and 5:30 am). There is a subculture you are expected to take part of and adhere to, at times it feels like a cult. Some are required to partake in daily devotionals despite what they may believe, it is not an option, they may say it is, but it isn't. You are expected to purchase your own polos ($30-50, they give you two and a sweater when you start). There is no employee handbook because the rules and expectations are constantly changing. You have to discover on your own that certain words are not OK, such as pirate (who knew right?). At times the you will be scolded like a child for things that you did not realize were not OK (see employee handbook comment). There is a strict dress code regarding tattoos and piercings, they highly look down on tattoos, so it is better not to say you have one. The few "vacations" you get off a year because it is year round are hardly fully off, they will expect you to come in and work on your "free" time. There are no sick days, actually being sick and staying home is highly frowned upon. Unless you have the measles, strep throat, or vomiting/super high fever, expect to be lectured about not coming into work. If you do find yourself getting sick you will be pulled into the office and told that you are allowing Satan to influence you and you need to pray (they don't say Satan though they say enemy, but that's what they mean). Overall, it is not worth the stress."

Pros

The kids and some of the other staff members (definitely not all). The curriculum with the art is very engaging. If you’re strong enough to tolerate a lot and be sure of yourself then this is the place for you.

Cons

#1. The pay. #2. Some unwelcoming staff members. #3. Some Administration members. #4. No life outside of work due to demanding hours and atmosphere. #5. Differentiating beliefs on food intake and being extremely forward about it. #6. There is a lot of Bible Scriptures on the walls, it’s hard to believe that administration let it up when there are people on all fronts who do not practice what they preach.
