Pros

Good schedule. Was able to still work full time while going to college. I worked there for five years, both in residential and day treatment.

Cons

Oh could I go on for days. Good luck moving up the career ladder, as they only promote the ones they favor or are family members. Why would a day treatment manager have a sports management degree? Because he's a family member. As I was approaching my second degree in psychology, a graduate degree at that, I was turned down for around 5 or 6 higher-level positions. Once was because "I was over qualified" or "I'd be bored". Then the person they actually hired was well under qualified. I often got in trouble for speaking my mind about the issues and borderline abuse I saw of the actual clients. Constant exploiting of them, as well as verbal abuse. Management did not care. The company covers up everything and the drama is ridiculous. It is not about the clients, it's about what makes the most money and helps the company look good. Don't believe the lies and deceit.
