Great people and professional - Marketing Assistant Spot Color Marketing Employee Review

This is a full-service marketing and advertising company. They have been in business for over 20 years. They treat their employees and contractors like family...and do fantastic work for their clients. Life/work balance is a high priority as is doing what you say and having a high standard of ethics. Learning and growth are also high priorities...they have paid for multiple classes, marketing, and leadership training. I feel valued as an employee, and love working with the other professionals on the team.

This company had offices in downtown Portland for years, but in 2015, went fully remote. Remote work isn't best suited for everyone. If you are looking for a career in marketing and you want to work in an office, this isn't the place for you.

Location maybe? I think they moved?

The owners don't have a clear goal of what is the purpose of their business. They are not compromised with their clients, money for them is their first, 2nd and 3rd priority, then the client's satisfaction. I saw several unsatisfied clients that paid for their services and didn't get what they signed for. As an employee you don't get to innovate or have a vote on what is best for the business, you just do what you suppose to do and thats it. I saw a few people that were fresh out of school or new to their careers, they worked there for less than a year then moved on, so I guess this is a good place for new professionals to get exposed to working with clients and meet dead lines, etc, however the pay at this place is super, super low, almost humiliating, and there is low to zero hopes to get a race, even on the long term.
