Pros
Smart coworkers, potentially interesting innovative projects, decent pay. Diversity and office culture is encouraged.
Cons
VERY corporate. Too large, and continues to be diluted by further acquisitions of smaller companies. Many are siloed in projects, and there is little opportunity for job mobility within the company. Each business line is treated as a separate company, and company policies may differ between departments. Don't get sold on the morality of their environmental work, as they are just as involved in building major pipelines and supporting mining and extraction operations. Some of the practices are legally questionable, and they love spreading corporate positivity, but there is no substance to back it up. To succeed here you need to keep your head down and fit into a mold.
