Pros
Over the last couple of years, I’ve really seen the work across the company start to come together. Teams are working better with each other, there’s more alignment, and we’re actually hitting goals while continuing to grow in a healthy way.
There’s a genuine feeling that we’re building something here. It’s been really rewarding to be part of that and to see the momentum build, especially when you’ve been in it and know how much effort has gone in behind the scenes. It also just feels good to win together as a team.
I’ve also gotten a lot of exposure to different parts of the business. Some leaders are definitely stretched across a lot of priorities, but I’ve actually found that to be a positive as it gives you visibility into different areas, projects, and how things really operate.
Cons
There are still some processes that need to catch up, which is pretty normal for a company that’s grown through acquisitions. Things aren’t perfect yet, but they’re moving in the right direction.
