Pros

- The starting salary for graduate-level employees is competitive. - Team members are generally warm, approachable, and supportive. - There are many opportunities to get involved in a variety of tasks and learn new skills.

Cons

- Recent cost-saving decisions by senior leadership, including changes to workplace policies and team restructuring, have had noticeable impacts on many employees. These changes include a mandatory return-to-office requirement and indications of reduced flexibility around remote-work options. - Several experienced engineers left or moved to other teams, and based on observations, many of their responsibilities were redistributed rather than replaced. - The Manchester office campus can be expensive to access and time-consuming to reach without a car every work day - Upward mobility appears limited, and annual pay increases tend to be modest (around 3%). For this reason, the company may be more suitable for short-term development rather than long-term career growth for those seeking higher compensation progression.

Pros

At THG every challenge is an opportunity, every idea is valued, and every individual is empowered to grow.

Cons

Certain times there will be a miscommunication on how a certain process needs to be handled, but nothing that isn't figured out within a small-time frame.

Pros

You’re quickly thrown into the deep and and get up to speed with all activity and project involvement. Good social atmosphere.

Cons

Harassment, bullying, and intimidation are management techniques frequently used, with those responsible being protected by the business when challenged. There are a lot of senior managers / directors who are in roles despite having no experience or training, suggestive of the poor people skills (some of whom have no idea what they’re asking for). Starting salaries can be good, but it’s near impossible to get any compensation benefit once through the door, despite good performance. Most promotions are title-only. WFH policy is not consistent either. Some teams are 1-person, yet they need to travel a great distance to sit in the office alone, yet other teams seem to pick and choose their own days, which seems to be fine.
