Pros

Some team members are supportive on a personal level.

Cons

There appears to be very little organizational structure or defined processes. After joining in January, there was no formal knowledge transfer or onboarding, and KRAs were not clearly defined. Communication between the India team and UK leadership seems fragmented, with local HR having limited visibility or authority on decisions. Operational basics are also missing or inconsistent—there is no proper HRMS, payroll has been delayed, and employee benefits such as insurance appear to exist mostly on paper without clear implementation. Tax and payroll calculations also seem inconsistent. At times, the overall conduct felt unprofessional. If an organization does not have clarity on roles, processes, or hiring decisions, it should avoid treating employees’ careers as experiments.

Pros

At THG every challenge is an opportunity, every idea is valued, and every individual is empowered to grow.

Cons

Certain times there will be a miscommunication on how a certain process needs to be handled, but nothing that isn't figured out within a small-time frame.

Pros

You’re quickly thrown into the deep and and get up to speed with all activity and project involvement. Good social atmosphere.

Cons

Harassment, bullying, and intimidation are management techniques frequently used, with those responsible being protected by the business when challenged. There are a lot of senior managers / directors who are in roles despite having no experience or training, suggestive of the poor people skills (some of whom have no idea what they’re asking for). Starting salaries can be good, but it’s near impossible to get any compensation benefit once through the door, despite good performance. Most promotions are title-only. WFH policy is not consistent either. Some teams are 1-person, yet they need to travel a great distance to sit in the office alone, yet other teams seem to pick and choose their own days, which seems to be fine.
