Pros

To get you to another job

Cons

Overscheduled, overworked, way underpaid. No accountability from management. C suites are basically interested in building portfolios of businesses buying up all types of testing companies consolidating into a monopoly. Pharmacies have complained to me every time I go in. They bought all competitors, so thats good there will always be work. But it means any scheduling or work is months our for our clients. Which of course they are not happy about and you hear about it when you come in every time. They don't take the time to integrate systems or employees. The guy that wrote the "database" passed away suddenly and they havent got anyone to work on it, and instead do random band-aid workarounds. Best 1996 has to offer. The people here have been here for years and basically haven't worked anywhere else. Makes sense. No one knows how to behave like it is a workplace and will instead hire/fire based on "vibes" rather than performance. Your job isnt safe and management is weirdly spoiled kids. All of it combines to an incredibly dysfunctional and unprofessional workplace

Pros

All the pros of working at TSS disappeared when the company became driven by greed—snapping up new acquisitions, suspending integration efforts, and letting go of the very people who built it—its best professionals and talent didn’t stay long. They left for greener pastures and healthier cultures.

Cons

This company is a masterclass in how poor leadership can sink potential. They constantly bring in high-level executives who contribute little to nothing while abusing their titles and power. Empathy is nonexistent—management operates with arrogance, not accountability. Instead of rewarding capable employees, they nurture toxic relationships with underqualified “favorites” who couldn’t perform their roles if their jobs depended on it. Talent doesn’t stay here long because good people quickly realize there’s no growth, no respect, and no recognition—just endless politics and empty promises. Pay is well below industry standards, benefits are mediocre, and the culture thrives on fear rather than collaboration. The revolving door speaks for itself: anyone with real skill or ambition leaves for companies that actually value their employees.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s clear this was a frustrating experience, and we appreciate you being honest about how it felt. We care about people being able to speak up and be heard — including at the highest levels of the company. When concerns are raised, we take them seriously and expect leaders to do the same. Culture doesn’t stand still, and we continue to look closely at how we lead, how decisions are made, and how people experience working here. We know that getting this right takes consistency and follow-through, not statements. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you well in what comes next.
