I worked at Tesco part-time for more than a year

    Pros

It was my job while at university, so I liked the fact that I had set hours rather than rotation shifts, plus I could ask for overtime/shift swap. I'd get more money for working on a sunday. You get 10% staff discount which I think could be improved, but good nonetheless. You get good training and start working soon after.

    Cons

Some managers were clearly working harder than others. Team leaders definitively did more work than some of them.
