Fast-paced environment; flexible scheduling; employer is happy to allow cross-training for those employees who are looking to learn more in any associated field ( sound/lighting/production/cooking/serving/marketing/office management/business skills, etc.); employer considers existing employees first when hiring for new positions; owner-operator on site for most hours of operation & always available via phone otherwise; owner is very hands-on; low employee turn-over due to amazing loyalty earned by & between staff & upper management/owner; tipped positions generally earn decent wages; customers generally upbeat & happy to visit

Because this is a single owner/operator business, decisions occasionally don't seem to make sense to employees; owner cuts costs in sometimes uncomfortable ways (cleaning duties mostly fall on employees; most employees rate of pay starts at minimum wage; temperament of owner varies, making your sense of humor paramount; the employees need to be equally as flexible as management is for them-occasional long hours/hard shifts test all staff's (incl. mgmt.) patience; no benefits package available to employees
