Pros

Therapists are kind. The Spa is in a great location. Spa billing department is nice.

Cons

The Spa has the potential to be an amazing workplace but is overwhelmed by the pungent fragrance of mismanagement. It is the least tranquil spa in terms of internal affairs. The front of house is incredibly loud and constantly yelling across the building. Middle management is rude and lacks empathy towards staff. Is snappy and short with people on the phone and speaks poorly/judgmentally about clients while they are receiving treatments. Assumes any questions are directly related to noncompliance rather than learning oriented. Incredibly long work hours (10-11 hours) with no concern of requested/agreed upon schedules for both front desk and therapists. Hours reflected full-time employment but considered only part-time. Owner is moody, cold, impatient and has his staff in fear of retribution if they make any mistakes or disagree with what or how he is speaking. Has taken benefits of "2 free employee services a week" away from employees because they refused to write internal Yelp reviews about The Spa, as that would be misleading. Consistently plays favorites and openly compares employees. Offers nothing but negative feedback. Has had extraordinarily high turnover rate, 400+ employees in the last 5 years. Interview was misleading, made to think there was room to grow within the company when it became abundantly clear that there is no room for any growth whatsoever.
