Pros

Pays a little better than other local banks for new hires. Great benefits and time off.

Cons

Pay for seasons employees at the branch level is not great. Been there 10 years and always have great annual reviews, am told a valuable part of team, always goes above and beyond to help customers and employees. Yet I make less than $1 more an hour then a new hire. Manager has tried to give better raises but at the branch level it really doesn’t get there. I don’t have debt but still paycheck to paycheck after medical premiums and taxes are taken out, then rent, utilities, groceries, etc.

Pros

Decent Benefits, great team and direct report. Pay is good. Work is fine

Cons

Senior management. People are promoted to positions not based on knowledge but who they know. To compensate for lack of knowledge of the departments they manage, they micromanage and undermine others. It seems like a lot of the senior leadership left over are those who are experts in office politics but offer no utility to the team or company. Stealing credit is the name of the game. Forget about mobility. If you are useful to a narcissist, they will keep you in that department for as long as they want you.
