Pros
There are very few occupations in which you can obtain as much experience and responsibility in such a short period of time. You have the opportunity to see the world, both the best and worst parts of it. The free educational experiences are unmatched, including the tuition assistance deals. It's very exciting to be part of important missions at times and you really do get to work with some of the best people in the world.
Cons
It is not a good environment to raise a family. Moving every few years is annoying and the time spent away from home is difficult. You have no control over your time and very little privacy. The health care, although free, well lets just say you get what you pay for.
