I worked at Verastar full-time (More than a year)

Pros

People on front line are great to work with- some great talent which are then sadly lost! Struggling to see a pro.

Cons

Always a catch to everything within the business. Always finding ways to cut down bonuses. No staff retention. Long hours- none flexible meaning having to take holidays for appointments. No internal promotions unless no salary incentive. Never open to new ideas, same old same old. Office wear- never seen by the public so unsure why this is the case. False promises to everything! Issues never resolved for customers and instead just buy more customers... viscous circle. Staff work incredibly hard but feels like trying to empty a sinking boat with a fork!

Advice to Management

Promote job opportunities within the business- members of staff found jobs for the business externally! Be realistic in what is expected from people! Treat people like humans instead of ranking of position within the business! Drop this whole section manager position it doesn’t exist! More respect to people who are actually working the customers. Get stuck in!

    I have been working at Verastar full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Ive been at verastar for over a year now and there is numerous pros as to why I enjoy working here. The friendly sales environment is a huge factor with a uncapped commission scheme and also no evenings or weekend shifts.

    Cons

    We need more than one microwave per floor.

    Advice to Management

    Bring in daily or weekly go home targets for the floor.
