Pros

There were no positives here.

Cons

Team is full of people who will not leave. Why? - Because they know they will struggle to find a job elsewhere and as they want to hang around in the hope of being made redundant for a big redundancy pay out. Toxic team culture. Why? - Reasons includes staff talking behind your back to make it seem your incompetent whilst they are 'good' and gang up against you. Newer less experienced staff expected to take on more responsibilities and progress more then older more experienced staff. Why? - Because they are more educated with more qualifications and less likely to say no when compared to existing staff. Managers will focus on other problems rather than address the underling problems within the team. Why? - Due to their incompetence and fear of retaliation. This means they will turn a blind eye to a lot of issues and let certain people get away with things as it is the easier thing to do. Managers will also deny the fault is theirs and will be happy to put blame on others to protect themselves.

Pros

Great people and the having this kind of experience on your resume is a plus. You often get opportuinites to make impressions on higher management from other teams/divisions.

Cons

There aren't too many that stick out which would lead me not to recommend this role.
