Pros

remote work, great team culture, future advancement

Cons

Benefits are very pricey for a healthcare organization. In my last position, I paid half of what I'm paying now.

Pros

I cannot mention at this point

Cons

The recruitment process at WelbeHealth is characterized by questionable negotiation tactics and the use of psychological pressure. While the initial stages appeared standard, the tone shifted abruptly once the topic of compensation arose. Both the recruiter and management employed a strategy of devaluing my qualifications, suggesting that I did not yet "meet the level" required for the role. Compensation was not transparently discussed until the final stage, at which point I was presented with an offer that falls below market standards for the Bay Area, especially considering the expected overtime. When I requested a market-match salary, the company resorted to criticizing my skills to justify their low-ball offer. However, their true intentions were revealed immediately after my formal rejection: the company initiated a follow-up call and offered to increase the pay, which completely invalidates their previous claims regarding my "weakness" as a candidate. Such a strategy points to a crisis in corporate ethics, where leadership conceals their own compensation while attempting to artificially depress the wages of frontline employees through gaslighting. The fact that this position remained vacant for many months after my exit further confirms the systemic inefficiency of this policy and high turnover rates. Candidates in the Bay Area should be prepared for their expertise to be intentionally undermined for the sake of the company's operational gain.
