Pros

The projects are pretty interesting as there's lots of opportunity to build out new things. Pay is competitive and the office is generally nice.

Cons

This organization obsesses over metrics. Senior management makes targets and middle managers push employees or get creative to meet them. Granted this is in the technology organization but, the lack of self awareness about this is terrifying given what the bank got in trouble with regulators for. A lot of extra hours need to be put in to meet things or simply to deal inefficient processes. This bank incentivizes managers on the "diversity" of their workforce. No one should feel like they lost their job, didn't get a job, or even got a job just based on some meaningless identity characteristics instead of their merit. This alone, significantly diminishes my motivation to continue working for or doing business with this bank. It needs to be said here, as it's impossible to raise these concerns from the inside.

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
